This Policy applies to EtherForge’s games, websites, smart contracts, launchers, stores, Discord bots, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the latest version on our site and/or in-app notices. Continuing to use the Service after the update means you accept the new Policy.

1) The Data We Collect

A) On-Chain (Public) Data

Because we are web3/GameFi, certain data is inherently public and processed by design

• Wallet public keys / addresses that interact with our contracts

• On-chain transactions & events (mints, transfers, marketplace actions, wagers, claims)

• Token/NFT ownership, balances, approvals, and smart-contract call metadata

• Data from blockchain nodes/indexers and public explorers

On-chain data is public, permanent, and may be linked by others to you through your actions or external info. We cannot alter or delete blockchain records.

B) Off-Chain (Service) Data

Collected via our sites, apps, game clients, SDKs, or support:

• Account & profile: player name/tag, avatar, preferences, region

• Contact: email (for login, newsletters, support), social IDs (e.g., Discord handle) if you connect them

• Gameplay: progress, inventory snapshots, match history, anti-cheat signals, reports, moderation records

• Device/Log: IP address, device & OS, browser type/language, app version, crash logs, latency, inferred coarse location (from IP)

• Payments: fiat or crypto payment confirmations via processors/wallet providers (we never receive full card details)

• Comms/UGC: chat logs, support tickets, feedback, contest/survey submissions

C) Data From Partners

• Wallet & auth partners (e.g., sign-in providers, custodial wallets if you choose them)

• Anti-fraud/AML/sanctions & geolocation providers (where features or laws require)

• Analytics, ads & attribution partners (aggregate/app-event data, campaign performance)

• Marketplaces, RPCs, indexers and payment providers involved in your transactions

• Verify purchases, process refunds where applicable, prevent payment fraud

• Provide receipts, tax and audit records where required

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it anytime in Settings or via device/platform controls.

4) On-Chain Specifics & Limits

• Immutability: Public blockchains are append-only; we cannot edit or erase historical records.

• Pseudonymity ≠ anonymity: Wallets may become linked to identities through your actions.

• Deletions/Corrections: We can delete or correct off-chain records we control; on-chain records cannot be altered.

• Self-custody: Your keys, your coins. We never custody secrets and cannot act on your behalf on-chain.

5) Cookies, SDKs & Similar Technologies

We and partners use cookies/SDKs to:

• Remember settings; keep you signed in

• Measure performance, crashes, latency; combat fraud

• Attribute installs; run limited A/B tests

• (With consent where required) show personalized offers/ads and limit ad repetition

Your choices: browser settings, OS-level ad settings (IDFA/GAID), in-game privacy settings, and consent prompts where applicable. Disabling certain cookies may break some features.

6) Personalized Ads & Your Choices

Where allowed and with consent where required, we may use:

• Advertising/device IDs (IDFA/GAID), IP-based coarse location, app events

• Basic segments (e.g., “new player”, “returned player”)

• Frequency capping and ad performance metrics

7) Who We Share Data With

• Service providers (processors): hosting, analytics, anti-fraud, moderation, email delivery, customer support

• Payment/wallet providers: to process your purchases and crypto transactions

• Blockchain networks & indexers: by nature of your on-chain actions

• Other players: names, avatars, match data, leaderboards, chat (as you choose to use features)

• Compliance & authorities: when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or protect safety/integrity

• Business changes: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, we’ll disclose accordingly

We do not sell your personal information for money. If applicable laws define “sale” to include certain ad tech sharing, we provide opt-outs/consents as required.

8) International Transfers

We operate globally; your data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) and conduct transfer assessments.

9) Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: encryption in transit, access controls, environment isolation, rate-limiting, anomaly detection, and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure—please protect your devices and never share private keys.

10) Data Retention

• We keep off-chain data only as long as needed to operate the Service and for legitimate interests (security, audits, legal).

• We may de-identify inactive records over time.

• On-chain records persist indefinitely by blockchain design.

11) Your Rights

Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK GDPR, California, etc.), you may have rights to:

• Access a copy of your personal data

• Correct inaccurate data

• Delete off-chain data we control (on-chain cannot be deleted)

• Object/Restrict certain processing, including direct marketing

• Port data (machine-readable export)

• Withdraw consent at any time (it won’t affect prior lawful processing)

• Appeal certain automated decisions where applicable

12) Children

Our Service is not directed to children under 13 (or higher local age). For experiences that may appeal to younger users, we limit features (e.g., chat, social linking) and minimize data. Where required, certain features are available only with parental consent. Parents can contact us to review or delete a child’s off-chain data; we will remove it unless we must retain it by law. Accounts proven underage contrary to this section may be terminated or converted to a restricted experience.

13) Regional Compliance & Restrictions

To comply with sanctions/export or local regulations, we may perform IP geolocation and other checks. Some countries/regions are restricted from accessing the Service or certain features (see Terms). Do not use VPNs to bypass restrictions. Availability may change over time.

14) Third-Party Links & Services

Wallets, marketplaces, RPCs, analytics, ad networks, and social platforms you choose to use operate under their own privacy policies. Review them carefully; we’re not responsible for independent practices of third parties.

15) Changes to This Policy

We’ll update this Policy as our Service evolves. Material updates will be highlighted in-app/on-site. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
