We’re committed to a fair, secure, and respectful experience across EtherForge. This policy explains what’s OK, what’s not, and how we enforce it—specifically for a web3/GameFi environment.

Violations may lead to revoked rewards, asset/point rollbacks, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account bans. For help or appeals: Discord → #support.

1) Core Principles

• Play fair. No cheats, automation, or exploits.

• Respect others. No toxicity, threats, harassment, or hate.

• Protect yourself. Never share seed phrases/private keys.

• Follow the rules. Comply with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and this Policy.

2) Respectful Conduct

Disruptive behavior kills the fun. Keep names, bios, chat, and media clean and respectful.

Not allowed:

• Hate speech, racism, or discriminatory content

• Harassment, bullying, doxxing, threats, or incitement

• Sexual/obscene content; excessive profanity

• Spam, scams, phishing, or malicious links

• Political endorsements, agitation, or propaganda in chat/UI spaces

Reporting: Use the in-game Report or Discord #support. False/malicious reports may result in action.

3) Cheats, Bots, Exploits & Automation

Prohibited, including but not limited to:

• Client or memory hacks, hex/code edits, packet injection

• Bots, scripts, macro tools, auto-clickers, input emulators

• Unauthorized clients, overlays, SDKs, or modified APKs

• Exploiting bugs/logic to gain unearned progress, items, or rank

• Network/RPC abuse to manipulate timing, matchmaking, or state

If you discover a vulnerability/exploit, don’t use it. Report it to security@etherforge.game (replace) for review. Good-faith reports help everyone.

Consequence: up to permanent ban, removal of ill-gotten assets/points, leaderboard resets.

4) Web3/DeFi–Specific Rules

4.1 Self-Custody & Wallet Safety

• We will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

• Beware airdrop/phishing scams and fake “support” DMs. Only trust official channels.

4.2 Multi-Accounts & Sybil Abuse

• Running multiple wallets/accounts to farm rewards, abuse referrals, or manipulate leaderboards/pools is prohibited.

• We may use behavioral, device, and network signals to detect Sybil patterns.

4.3 Market Manipulation

• Wash trading, spoofing, fake volume, or price manipulation for tokens/NFTs is forbidden.

• Off-platform OTC dealings are your risk; scamming others will be penalized (we cannot reverse on-chain txns, but we can act on accounts).

4.4 Wagers, Cash-like Features & KYC/AML

• SOL wagers and certain marketplace/cashout features may require KYC/AML. Refusal or failed checks → feature disabled.

• Sanctions/region checks apply. Do not use VPNs/proxies to bypass availability.

5) Unauthorized Currency & Account Trading

5.1 Off-Platform Currency Sales

• Purchasing “cheap” currency/items from third parties often involves account compromise, chargeback fraud, or stolen funds. Not allowed.

• Result: revoked currency/items and potential ban.

5.2 Buying/Selling/Sharing Accounts

• Selling, buying, sharing, “renting,” or “boosting” accounts is prohibited.

• Accounts involved may be permanently banned. We do not provide support for traded/compromised accounts.

6) Match Integrity & Competitive Abuse

• AFK, intentional feeding/throwing, griefing, or match-fixing is prohibited.

• Element picks (our asymmetric RPS) should be played in good faith; coordinated abuse to farm MMR/rewards will be penalized.

• Queue sniping, collusion, or leaderboard manipulation is not allowed.

7) Other Unacceptable Behavior

• Staff impersonation; fake “support”

• Phishing, identity theft, or harvesting personal data

• Refund/chargeback abuse

• Knowingly exploiting a bug (instead of reporting)

• Encouraging others to break rules

8) Marketplace & UGC Guidelines

• UGC (names, avatars, posts) must respect this Policy and IP laws.

• No counterfeit or infringing NFTs/items tied to EtherForge IP.

• Do not imply official partnership without our written approval.

9) Prevention & Detection

We use a mix of preventive systems and automated/manual reviews:

• Client/server integrity checks, anti-bot signals, anomaly detection

• Behavior, network, and device-level risk indicators (where lawful)

• Report reviews by trained moderators (leaderboards, tournaments, community flags)

We strive to enforce consistently and improve our systems over time.

10) Enforcement Ladder & Appeals

Typical progression (we may skip steps based on severity/evidence)

1. Warning → 2. Temporary restriction/suspension → 3. Permanent ban

   Additional measures: rollback of assets/points, rank resets, feature caps (e.g., trading/wagers).

Appeals: Open a ticket in Discord #support with Player ID, summary, timestamps, and evidence (screenshots/video/txn hashes). We review in good faith to protect competitive integrity.

11) Regional & Legal Compliance

• Availability may vary due to licensing, local law, or sanctions. See Regional Access & Sanctions in Terms.

• Do not bypass restrictions with VPNs/proxies. Violations can lead to account action.

12) Community Safety

We encourage a culture of look out for others, stop harassment, speak up, and seek support. Bullying has no place in EtherForge. Use report tools; our team takes safety seriously.

13) Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect new features, risks, or best practices. Material changes will be highlighted in-app/on-site. Continued play means you accept the latest version.
